The AFAS Live (formerly Heineken Music Hall ) is a multi-purpose hall in Amsterdam , which was built from 1996 to 2001 and is mainly used for concerts and musical events. The complex is divided into hall 1 (black box) with a capacity of 6000 people and hall 2 (beat box) with a capacity of around 700. The hall is located near the Johan Cruyff Arena .
Events
Artists such as Herbert Grönemeyer , Take That , Westlife , Toto , Kylie Minogue , Avril Lavigne , Bring Me the Horizon , Bob Dylan , Rihanna , Katy Perry , Sam Smith , Within Temptation , Troye Sivan , Monsta X , Blackpink and Disturbed performed here on. On December 1, 2012, the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012 was performed at the Heineken Music Hall. On April 7, 2019, the first of five promotional events for the Eurovision Song Contest under the name Eurovision in Concert was held in the hall.
