Black Hole Recordings is a Dutch independent label that specializes in trance . It was founded in 1997 by Arny Bink and Tiësto and is based in Breda . In August 2009, Tiësto sold his stake to Arny Bink, who has been the sole owner since then.

history

In 1994 Tiësto signed with Basic Beat Recordings, where he met Arny Bink. In 1997 the two decided to leave Basic Beat and set up their own music label. Tiësto published the album series Magik through Black Hole Recordings and founded the two sub-labels In Trance We Trust and SongBird in 1998 . He later released the album series In Search of Sunrise on SongBird. In 2001 Tiësto founded another sub-label called Magik Muzik , on which he published most of his chart successes.

Black Hole Recordings was nominated for Best Global Dance Record Label at the International Dance Music Awards in Miami from 2008 to 2012 .
