Maximilian Schantl

Maximilian Schantl (born October 4, 1901 in Graz , † November 30, 1978 ) was an Austrian administrative lawyer.

Schantl received his doctorate as Dr. jur. From 1950 he was Secretary General and from January 13, 1955 to December 31, 1966, Director General of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB).

1958: Large Cross of Merit with Star of the Federal Republic of Germany
