Maximiliano Pereiro , full name Maximiliano Pereiro Zugarramurdi , (born August 17, 1990 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.78 meter tall defensive player Pereiro has been in the squad of the first division team Rampla Juniors at least since the Apertura 2010 . There he played a total of 23 games in the Primera División in the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons . He did not score a goal (2010/11: 11 games (0 goals); 2011/12: 12 (0)). In 2012 he moved to the then second division club Sud América , with whom he rose from the Segunda División to the top Uruguayan league at the end of the 2012/13 season . In the following first division season he was in 26 league games on the field. In the 2014/15 season he made 22 appearances in the Primera División. During the 2015/16 season, he has made 22 premier league appearances. Since then, he has not succeeded in a first division for Sud América. In early July 2016 he was loaned to Guillermo Brown . His competitive debut for the Argentines is still pending (as of September 28, 2016).
