Maximiliano de Brito
Maximiliano de Brito (* 1953 in Espírito Santo do Pinhal , SP, Brazil ) is a Brazilian pianist .
De Brito graduated from the State University of Uberlândia, MG, (Brazil). Immediately after his exams as a concert pianist, he took over a professorship for piano and chamber music at the same university. Further studies in the field of comparative musicology followed in Brazil and Germany.
One focus of his artistic activity is the dissemination of the música erudita brasileira outside of Brazil.
In addition to appearances as a pianist and conductor, de Brito mainly works in the field of song accompaniment. Under the name Duo Brasileiro he performed together with Renato Mismetti in concert halls in Europe.
