Maxwell Deacon
Maxwell Arnold Deacon (born March 22, 1910 in Thunder Bay , Ontario , † April 29, 1970 ) was a Canadian ice hockey player .
Career
Maxwell Deacon began his career as a hockey player in 1927 with the Fort William Forts of the Thunder Bay Hockey League. From 1931 to 1933 he played for the Port Arthur Hockey Club, from 1934 to 1936 for the Port Arthur Bearcats. Following the 1936 Winter Games, he played another five years in amateur ice hockey - first two seasons for the Falconbridge Falcons and then three seasons for the Geraldton Gold Miners.
International
For Canada Deacon took part in the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , where he and his team won the silver medal.
