Mayo Yamaura ( Japanese 山 浦 麻葉 , Yamaura Mayo ; born April 9, 1984 in Miyota , Nagano Prefecture ) is a Japanese curler . She plays second in the Aomori team at Aomori CC in Aomori Prefecture .

Yamaura's greatest achievement was winning the silver medal at the 2007 and 2009 Pacific Championships for Skip Moe Meguro's team .

In February 2010, Yamaura participated as a member of the Japanese team at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada. The team took eighth place.
