The McAllister Hills are a group of hills in East Antarctica Victoria Land . They loom between Shapeless Mountain and the Upper Wright Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 2004 after Major George R. McAllister of the 109th Airlift Wing of the New York Air National Guard , who on October 16, 1999 took an LC-130 from McMurdo Station to Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station .
