McLean Ridge is a small, partially icy mountain ridge in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . In the Aramis Range of the Prince Charles Mountains, it rises about 5 km southeast of Mount Butterworth .
Aerial photographs of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions from 1956 and 1960 were used for mapping purposes. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named him by mistakenly assuming the surname after Cyril Victor Morgan (1934-1998), chief diesel generator mechanic at Wilkes Station in 1963. Bisland, the mistake in the naming was not corrected.
