McWane is an American manufacturer of ductile iron products such as water pipes , valves, hydrants and fittings . Fire extinguishers and other fire protection products are also manufactured. McWane the largest manufacturer of fire hydrants and one of the leading foundries of iron fittings for water supply in North America.
In 1921, the company was founded by JR McWane as the McWane Cast Iron Pipe Company . From the end of the 1980s, McWane took over numerous other companies such as B. the Clow Valve Company, Kennedy Valve Company, and Tyler Pipe & Coupling.
