Mchakojou is an island off the north coast of the island of Anjouan in the island state of Comoros .

The islands are not far from the Pointe de Bouékouni off the north coast of the western foothills of Anjouan, opposite the settlement of Fombani (Afombany) and west of Mjamaoué .
