Kienbichl is a district of Kufstein . It forms the eastern part of the Kufstein-Zentrum district.

Kienbichl lies at the foot of the 1273 m high Jahnhügel , a mountain in the western foothills of the Wilder Kaiser . The Kienbach flows through the village and flows into the Inn south of the fortress . Kienbichl consists mainly of apartment buildings in the villa and country house style, as well as villas and stately country houses from the Wilhelminian era to before the Second World War . Before that, Kienbichl was, as the original cadastre plan shows, a rural mill town. The following streets are located in Kienbichl: Kienbergstraße , Schützenstraße , Maximilianstraße (northern section), Pienzenauerstraße , Bachgasse and the Hochwandweg (southern section), as well as the Hörfarterstraße footpath . The calvary and the old part of the Kufstein cemetery are located in the northern Kienbichler corridor . On the eastern edge of the village on the rise of the Jahnhügel is the lower end of the Kienbergklamm.
