Meat Katie (actually Mark Pember ) is a London- based breakbeat producer and DJ. In recent years he has become known for the development of his style: "Tech-Funk", in which he combines the styles of Techno , Tribal House , Electro , Breakbeat and House . He is currently under contract with LOT49 . Meat Katie won the "Outstanding Contribution to Breakbeat" award at the 2006 Breakspoll Awards.
