Medal for services to the Bavarian Justice

The medal for services to the Bavarian Justice is an award of the Bavarian State Ministry of Justice , which has been awarded since 2001 to persons or associations who have rendered services to the justice system. It was founded by the then Bavarian Minister of Justice, Manfred Weiß , and is usually awarded a maximum of 20 times a year.

The medal has a diameter of 40 mm, is made of silver and shows on the front Justitia with scales and sword with the inscription "For special merits to the Bavarian justice" and on the back the large Bavarian state coat of arms with the inscription "Bavarian State Ministry of Justice ". She is accompanied by a certificate and a pin with a picture of Justitia .

The medal for services to the Bavarian Justice is not a medal or badge of honor in the sense of Art. 118 Para. 5 of the Constitution of the Free State of Bavaria and is not intended to be worn in public.
