Herbert Schulze (musicologist)

Herbert Schulze (born September 4, 1923 , † June 6, 1975 in Leipzig ) was a German musicologist. Schulze was a proven Schumann specialist and for many years head editor of the VEB Deutscher Verlag für Musik in Leipzig. In 1969 Schulze received the Robert Schumann Prize from the city of Zwickau .
