Antwerp Medal

The Antwerp Medal was donated on May 31, 1833. The founder was the King of the Netherlands , Wilhelm I.

The medal was awarded to the defenders of the Citadel of Antwerp who fought under General Chasse.

Order decoration

On the front was the layout of the citadel with the motto “Citadel of Antwerp”. On the back, the lapel , was the majuscule "W" as the king's initial for Wilhelm and in a laurel and oak wreath was written "December 1832".

Ribbon

The ribbon was the color blue.
