Medal of Dordrecht

The Dordrecht Medal was donated on November 26, 1833. Founder was the King of the Netherlands , Wilhelm I. The medal was awarded to the fighters who excelled in the expulsion of the French and in the defense of the city of Dordrecht .

Order decoration

The obverse shows a ship's beak (ramspur) and a cannon, which were placed crosswise., Above was a wall crown and the words "For our walls and our homes". The reverse showed the inscription in a laurel and oak wreath: "Dordrecht XXIV. Nov. MDCCCXIII."
