Hague Medal

The Hague Medal was awarded to citizens who first took up arms on November 17, 1813 to fight the French. The approval of the new legitimate government was also crucial. The founder was the King of the Netherlands , Wilhelm I.

Order decoration

On the front were two swords with the motto "For the Fatherland and Orange". On the back, the lapel , in a laurel and oak wreath, the date “XVII. Nov. MDCCCXIII ".

Ribbon

The ribbon was in the city's colors, blue and yellow.
