Media impulses

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Medienimpulse (long spelling: Medienimpulse - contributions to media education) is an Austrian academic journal on the subject of media education .

The magazine, funded by the Federal Ministry for Education, Art and Culture , has been published quarterly since 1992 and as an online magazine since 2009. Edited volumes with selected articles are published in printed form at irregular intervals.

The focus of the magazine is the question of how (new) media intervene in concrete teaching practice and how this connection is scientifically reflected. Each issue deals with its own main topic. From 2004 to 2008, several special editions on the topic of elementary school education were published.
