Media theology

Media theology is a branch of practical theology and deals with questions of theology in the media and especially on the Internet. This initially has ecclesiological aspects, i.e. the question of the extent to which church and congregation can be mediated through the media, but then also practical-theological aspects, i.e. the question of the extent to which public relations and missions can and should be done on the Internet. Church activities on the Internet are diverse, so there are virtual church services, remembrance of the dead and pastoral care on the Internet.
