Large dolmen types

The megalithic complex of Złotowo ( Powiat Mławski ) in the municipality (Gmina) Szreńsk, in the Masovian Voivodeship in Poland , was possibly built in the late Neolithic by the supporters of the spherical amphora culture (KAK - 3100-2700 BC) and in 1959 discovered by Alojzy Rybczyński. However, the state of research is not such that a clear assignment between builder and subsequent user would have to be made. The megalithic complex on the right of the road in a group of trees is one kilometer west of the village.

Several burials and some animal bones typical of the culture were found during the excavation . In addition, two flint axes, several amber artifacts and broken earthenware were discovered. The remains of the former hill above the chamber are still visible - its original size was about 19 × 15 m.

Hans-Jürgen Beier calls the complex, which consists of 13 preserved and a few scattered stones, and which has no cap stones, as large dolmen , although the entrances typical for systems of this type in Germany could not be determined.
