More than a song is a song by the German singer and songwriter Alexa Feser . It comes from her second studio album Gold von Morgen and was written by her in collaboration with Steve van Velvet. On September 4, 2015, the song was released as the third single from the album, but not as successful as the previous single Glück . The single was released on the Warner Music label .

For the release of the single, a new version of the song was recorded, which is designed for the radio. This version is made a little faster, is more danceable than the original and is almost twenty seconds shorter, which is better for the radio stations. The single was released the same day as tomorrow's deluxe version of Gold , which includes a live album. Thus more than a song serves to promote the re-release.

Music video
The music video for the song, shot in 2015, was released on September 3, 2015 on the YouTube channel of their Warner Music label. In the video you can see Feser doing things together with a man who plays her boyfriend in the video. There is a scene in a record store or one where Feser is driven through a parking garage with a shopping cart by her boyfriend. The video has received more than half a million views to date (as of August 2017).
