Alexa Feser (born December 30, 1979 in Wiesbaden ), formerly also known as Alexa Phazer , is a German singer and songwriter .

Musical career

2002–2013: career start and me against myself

From 2002 Feser worked as a studio singer for No Angels , Juliette Schoppmann , Joana Zimmer , Thomas Anders , Ricky Martin , Mike Leon Grosch . In a duet with Montell Jordan and performed at concerts such as the Cover me series . Feser worked as a DJ for a while. Under the pseudonym Alexa Phazer, she recorded the album Ich gegen mich , which was released on August 8, 2008 under the label Seven Days Music, together with Steve van Velvet, who already worked with Falco . Previously the two singles I will marry myself and Hypnotized were published.

2014–2015: Tomorrow's gold and participation in our song for Austria

Under her real name, the song Wir sind hier was released on September 12, 2014 as the first single from her first major label album Gold von Morgen , which was released on September 26 of the same year on the Warner Music label . Unlike the previously released album as Alexa Phazer, this one was able to place itself in the German album charts up to position 19 and stayed in the charts for a total of 16 weeks.

From February to March 2015 Feser was on her first own tour. On March 5, 2015, she took part in the German preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 , Our Song for Austria , with the songs Glück and Das Gold von Morgen . She made it to the second round, but after this she was no longer elected by the audience. The song Glück was released in advance as the second single from the album on February 20, 2015. After appearing in the preliminary round, he made it to 63rd place in the German single charts and stayed there for two weeks. Also in February 2015 she was nominated for the German music award Echo in the category artist rock / pop national.

The third and final single from the album was the song Mehr als ein Lied on September 4, 2015 . On the same day, a deluxe version of Gold von Morgen was released, which contains a complete live recording of one of their concerts in Berlin.

2016–2017: Between the seconds

On September 30, 2016, the song Medicine was released as the first single from their second studio album Between the Seconds . In December 2016, an acoustic version of the song Mensch unter Menschen was released . The second single from the album was released on February 3, 2017, the song Wunderfinder , which she recorded together with the rapper Curse . Wunderfinder reached number 62 in the Austrian single charts. The accompanying music video has been viewed over four million times on YouTube , which makes the song one of Feser's best-known pieces.

The release of their second studio album took place on April 21, 2017 on the Warner Music label, like the previous album. It entered the German album charts at number three and was temporarily at number 1 on the iTunes charts . The album was also able to achieve a position in the respective album charts in Austria and Switzerland. In Germany, the album stayed in the charts for six weeks. Also in April 2017 the songbook Golden Seconds was published , which contains sheet music for piano, vocals and guitar from 16 different songs by Feser. The TV broadcaster MDR showed the Alexa Feser documentary Die Wunderfinderin by Falko Korth for the first time on April 28, 2017 . In May, their Between the Second Tour 2017 started. On June 23, 2017, the song Leben was released as the third and final single. A related music video was released in August.

The compilation album Between the Seconds - Am Piano was released on November 3, 2017. It contains ten acoustic versions of individual songs from the album Between the Seconds . To promote this album, she completed an acoustic session on the music channel Deluxe Music .

2018–2019: A!

In July 2017, Feser began writing and composing new songs for her next album. For this process, she changed her place of residence within Berlin in order to come up with new ideas. On October 11, 2018 was gold talk the first single from her third studio album A! published on May 10, 2019. The song 1A was released as the second single on March 1, 2019. The music video, which was shot in Japan in December 2018, shows Feser and the detective Conan figure Tōru Amuro. A music video was also released for the songs Mut and Atari T-Shirt , which Feser recorded in Japan. On April 23, 2019, the A! Tour with a concert in Cologne. During this tour, she presented the songs from the new album before the actual release. On May 18, 2019, there was an appearance at the Grand Prix Party in Hamburg. The song Mut was released as the third single from the album on September 20, 2019 . The music video for the song was released in January of the same year.

Since 2020: New Music

On March 6th, 2020 the song Nie Sie was released by Disarstar on which Feser is featured. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Germany , the third part of their A! Tour canceled in May 2020.

The song Optimist was released as a single on June 26, 2020. For this it has the song egoist of Falco completely rewritten and rearranged. On the same day, a lyric video appeared on Youtube. Optimist is Feser's first release on the Sony Music label .
