Juliette Schoppmann
Juliette Schoppmann (born March 18, 1980 in Stade ) is a German pop and musical singer . She took 2002/2003 on the first season of the RTL - casting show Germany Idol part, finishing in second place.
Life
Schoppmann was born the daughter of a French woman and a German woman. Schoppmann began training as a classical dancer with John Neumeier at the Hamburg State Opera in 1991 , which she completed in 1996. In the late 1990s she was trained as a musical singer at the Stella R1 Academy in Hamburg; she also attended the Stage School Hamburg .
Schoppmann became known as the finalist of the first season of the casting show Deutschland sucht den Superstar (DSDS). The TV station RTL broadcast this talent show from October 2002 to March 2003. Schoppmann was considered the favorite to win, but in the end she took second place in this competition and was defeated by her competitor Alexander Klaws in the final with 70.1% to 29.9% of the audience votes cast over the phone. With the song We Have a Dream , she won the ECHO Pop in the category "Single of the Year" with the American Idol Allstars 2004 .
Schoppmann then released the solo album Unique , as well as the three singles Calling You , Only Uh Uh ... and I Still Believe . Despite two top 10 hits, the record company Sony BMG Music Entertainment terminated its contract with Schoppmann in 2004.
In 2009, Schoppmann wrote the songs Good at It , Mi Chica , Alien and Ready to Fly for the album by Linda Teodosiu , which took third place in the fifth season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar . In September 2012 she took part in the RTL casting show Das Supertalent and was voted into the final by viewers on December 1, 2012, which she finished in sixth place.
Juliette Schoppmann lives in Cologne and has worked there as a lecturer at the Music Academy Cologne South since 2013 and at the Music Academy Bonn since September 2014 . On Leo Roja's album Albatross she was the singer of the track Forever Love . She sang the official song of the 2013/2014 Four Hills Tournament To the Sky .
2014 coaching Schoppmann the winner of the Super talent 2014 Marcel Kaupp and accompanied him to victory.
In 2017 she re-recorded the title Für dich with Dieter Bohlen . The premiere took place in the program Dieter Bohlen - The Megashow . For you became known in 2003 through Yvonne Catterfeld , and it was rumored that Schoppmann had refused to sing him. But she contradicted this in 2012 in the program Das Supertalent .
Since 2018 she has been working as a vocal coach for the candidates at Deutschland sucht den Superstar .
