The 70s show was an RTL television program moderated by Hape Kerkeling . It was the second of three retro shows on RTL after the 80s show broadcast last year .

Concept of broadcast

During the broadcast, a discussion took place between the moderator and his studio guests. It was all about the 1970s way of life ; H. The typical food, hairstyles, dances, music, etc. Hape Kerkeling sang over and over again old music tracks.

In the program, 50 video clips from the seventies were briefly played. Various people were faded into the clip, who spoke or sang along with comments on the track being played or its interpreter, usually dissonant and asynchronous.
