For you a song is German pop - singer Yvonne Elliman and the fourth single from her debut album My World from 2003. The by Dieter Bohlen song produced managed in Germany , Austria and in Switzerland at the chart top. The song sold more than 250,000 times.
Emergence
Catterfeld had appeared with her first two singles Come back to me and Nobody Else only under her last name and feelings was finally published as Yvonne Catterfeld. In May 2003 Für dich was released as the fourth and final single from the debut album. For you it became the most commercially successful single in Yvonne Catterfeld's career to date.
Dieter Bohlen produced the title. The text comes from Klaus Hirschburger , Lukas Hilbert and Dieter Bohlen. Robert Bröllochs directed the video shoot. It was created using blue screen technology . Bohlen said that he wrote the song for Juliette Schoppmann . Catterfeld, on the other hand, claims that the song was first produced with her, although the melody should already have been there. “As is for you , it is made for me. It's my song! ”Said Yvonne Catterfeld on July 22, 2003 to rp-online.de. Schoppmann is said to have refused to sing the song on March 8, 2003, the final day of the first season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar . However, Schoppmann claimed in the TV show Das Supertalent in 2012 that she herself had not refused the song, especially since it was never offered to her. The then DSDS juror Thomas Stein made it clear in an interview that the song was not intended for Juliette Schoppmann either. The song would have been sung by Catterfeld even before the 2003 DSDS finale for the RTL series Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten . Since May 2017, the song has also been available in a new version sung by Juliette Schoppmann, which she performed for the first time in the RTL program Dieter Bohlen - Die Mega-Show .
