Career

Hilbert began his career at the age of 12 when his brother Kieran (guitar and vocals) and drummer Maik Buchwald encouraged him to found the band "The Future". In 1985 Future won the NDR-Hörfest and received his first record deal in Hanover. Klaus Lage guitarist Rolf "Rocco" Klein , who died in 2015, produced the first single Isabell, Future, in 1986 in the Dierksstudio in Cologne . Lukas Hilbert toured Germany with Future under the management of his father Erwin Hilbert , until Udo Lindenberg brought the Hilbert brothers into his panic orchestra and Erwin Hilbert Lindenberg became secretary. At the same time, Lukas Hilbert and his brother Kieran founded the hard rock band "Hauden & Lukas" and was marketed by Lindenberg as "Germany's youngest rocker" and "Lindenberg's illegitimate son". Together with Lindenberg he also began to write songs. In 1991, in collaboration with his brother, the Lindenberg album I will have you was created , for which he received a gold record . Two solo albums by Hilbert followed, but they only sold little.

In the same year he was responsible for the hits of the Big Brother candidates Ulf and Hella, as well as the "Big Brother Allstars", which all reached the top 10. Finally, in May 2003, he landed as the copywriter of the single Für dich, produced by Dieter Bohlen for Yvonne Catterfeld , at number 1 in the German single charts.

In the sales charts, however, it was the third most successful title in the competition.

At the end of 2006 he wrote the top 10 hit Remember me to forget you for the singer Yvonne Catterfeld .
