Volker Neumüller (born October 18, 1969 in Cuxhaven ) is a German music manager .

Life

Neumüller has been in the music industry since 1987 and founded his own management and booking company that year. In 1991 he became PolyGram's A&R Director . In 1996, Neumüller joined the record company Mega Records as managing director . Three years later he went to BMG in Berlin , where he became A&R Director and Deputy Managing Director. From 2002 to 2004 Neumüller was General Manager at Sony / Epic . One year later he founded his company 313 Music as a record label, management and TV production company with artists such as Mark Medlock , Melanie C , Linda Teodosiu , Lukas Hilbert , Ben , Alex Christensen / U 96 , Kate Hall , Das Bo , DJ Ötzi and further.

Since the fourth season of the talent show Deutschland sucht den Superstar Neumüller has taken over the management of the winners and succeeded Max von Thun as a jury member in the sixth season . He also took on this task in the seventh season, until he was replaced by Patrick Nuo in the eighth , in order to devote himself entirely to management. From 2013 to 2020 Neumüller took over the management of DSDS winner (tenth season) Beatrice Egli .
