Linda Angeline Teodosiu (* 19th September 1991 in Cologne ) is a German pop - singer .

life and career

The daughter of the Romanian-born saxophonist Flavius ​​Teodosiu ( The SaxMan ), who played in the studio band RTL Saturday Night Allstars , and the singer Belinda Haarhausen made her first appearance at the age of five in Phantasialand in Brühl. Teodosiu became known as a participant in the fifth season of the casting show Deutschland sucht den Superstar 2008, in which she reached the semi-finals. After leaving DSDS, she signed a record deal with Sony Music . In spring 2009, the debut single Love Sux was released, which reached number 24 in the German charts. In September, the second single Reprogram My Heart followed , which debuted at number 28 in the German charts. In addition to her singing career, she appeared in supporting roles in the series Alarm for Cobra 11 and racing pig Rudi Rüssel . In 2009, she also took part in the TV program The Perfect Celebrity Dinner and was a candidate for the Sat.1 show The Winner is ... in 2012 , where she lost to Onita Boone in the final . In August 2015 she appeared on VOX in the styling documentary Promi Shopping Queen .

Since 2013 she has been working as a background singer in the Peter Maffay band. In autumn 2016 she was a singer with Tabaluga - long live the friendship with Peter Maffay as the vocal voice of Lilli in the spotlight. Her second studio album, Full Stop digital , was released on March 23, 2017 .

Since the end of 2017 she has been called Linda Siu and released her new single Du lebst mich kaputt with Gentleman on November 3rd, 2017 .

On February 17, 2019, she took part in the Romanian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with the song Renegades , where she reached fourth place.
