Your Dark Side ( dt : "Your Dark Side" ) is the only studio album by German pop-rock band Nu Pagadi that of Polydor was published on January 3 of 2005. The album reached number one in the German charts, number five in Austria and number six in Switzerland. Nu Pagadi had previously emerged as the winner of the fourth season of the ProSieben casting show Popstars .

The pieces on Your Dark Side are written by various composers. In addition to the pop star jury members Uwe Fahrenkrog-Petersen and Lukas Hilbert , who wrote nearly half the songs were also songs by, among others, Dee Mullen , Jonas Jeberg , Kiko Masbaum , Michelle Leonard , the under the symbol RG trading under the name Rea Garvey , Sam Tyson and Steve van Velvet were used. With Flesh for Fantasy there is also a Billy Idol cover on Your Dark Side .

Fahrenkrog-Petersen and Hilbert produced the entire album except for two tracks, for which Frank Johnes and Tom Remm were responsible.

Artwork and cover design

The photos in the booklet are from Helge Strauss, Claudia Macia designed the artwork. All lyrics are printed in the booklet. The album cover sparked discussions, as it shows all four band members lolling naked.

Single releases

Sweetest poison

Nu Pagadi's first single was Sweetest Poison . The song reached number one in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In Austria the piece stayed in the hit parade for 17 weeks. The video shoot was directed by Oliver Sommer.

Dying Words

Dying Words was released as the second and last single of the band on February 21, 2005 and could not build on the success of the predecessor. The song reached number 22 in the German single charts and stayed there for nine weeks. In Austria and Switzerland, the single was 36th and 47th respectively and was able to stay there for five weeks each.

Christian G. Schulz directed the video for a day in Berlin . All scenes were recorded by the cameraman Henning Stirner. The executive production company was Pop-House GbR .
