The move is the third studio album by the German Pop - singer Yvonne Elliman . It was published on March 14, 2005 in German-speaking countries. In terms of style, the album essentially moves between pop , contemporary R&B and soul . In Germany, it was awarded gold for more than 100,000 units sold .

After her first two studio albums Meine Welt (2003) and Colors of My World (2004), the album Unterwegs was released in 2005 . It reached number one on the German album charts. The album stayed in the German album charts for 23 weeks. On September 12, 2005, an on-the-go live DVD was released. In 2009 Unterwegs was published again as a gift edition together with the second studio album Colors of My World .

Content and production

The photos in the booklet of the album were made by Mathias Bothor. In addition to thirteen German-language titles, the English song Superwoman can be heard. Steve van Velvet , Götz von Sydow, Ralf Hildenpaket , Gianna S. Roth, Jeo and Catterfeld themselves contributed to the album as producers and songwriters .

reception

The website laut.de judged the album that it would get boring after a few songs. Catterfeld offers nothing more than "good, perhaps cross-generational TV entertainment". The reviewer CDstarts.de gave a similar verdict. There it says: "Ms. Catterfeld hums her sometimes huge numbers and turns them into boring, boring numbers." It is about "a CD for people who like it, who are more undemanding". Yvonne Catterfeld also has no personal style. She did not use her vocal training. The live DVD was rated better by another reviewer on the website. Although he criticizes the inadequate show, he can see that Catterfeld has developed from a “teen idol” to a “serious soul star”.
