Multi-front war
A multi- front war is a war that a country wages on more than two fronts . Such a situation is extremely problematic as it creates logistical difficulties even more than a two-front war .
For example, a multi-front war led:
- the Byzantine Empire and the Sassanid Empire at the beginning of the 7th century
- Paraguay in the Triple Alliance War
- Bulgaria in the Second Balkan War
- Germany in the First and Second World Wars
- Israel in the Israeli-Arab Wars
- Pakistan and India during two simultaneous wars: the Third Indo-Pakistani War and the Bangladesh War
