from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As Rolin Master or Master of Jean Rolin is one in Burgundy and Paris acting illuminator designated whose activity is detectable by 1,440 to 1,465. The artist, who is not known by name, got his emergency name after two missals , today in the Autun City Library and in the Lyon City Library , which he illustrated for Cardinal Jean Rolin II .

He is also credited with work in the Brussels Horologium sapientiae and an edition of the little book of eternal truth by Heinrich Seuse .

All attempts to create a more detailed biography of the artist remained controversial to this day. His oeuvre is also not limited with absolute certainty.
