Meister von Seeon is the emergency name for a famous, by name not known, sculptor of the 15th century.

The artist worked in the late Gothic style , his workshop is believed to be in Mühldorf am Inn . He worked in southern Germany and Austria . The eponymous figure of Maria with the child from the parish and monastery church of St. Lambert in Seeon ("Seeon Mother of God") has been housed in the Bavarian National Museum in Munich since 1855 , a copy has been in the parish church of Seeon since 1947.

In addition to numerous depictions of the Virgin Mary and the Child Jesus, the "Master of Seeon" only created one male figure that has survived to this day, that of St. Peter with the three-crowned crown, on the left of the altar, which was newly created after the fire in the monastery church of St. Peter and Paul in Altenhohenau in 1389 graced above.

The so-called Kolumba Infant Jesus , a Gothic carved figure from the early 15th century, which is kept in the Altenhohenau monastery church, is attributed to the master of Seeon.
