Meistershofen is a district of Oberheister in the municipality of Neunkirchen-Seelscheid in the Rhein-Sieg district .

location

Meistershofen is located on the Seelscheid in the Bergisches Land . The formerly separate district today forms the eastern edge of Oberheister with Broch .

history

In 1830 the Meistershöfe had 22 residents. In 1845 Meistershoven had 25 Catholic residents in six houses. In 1888 there were 16 residents in five houses.

In 1910 the families Maurer Josef Bergfelder, Ackerin widow Peter Josef Fischer, Ackerin widow Peter Josef Jacobs and Ackerer Peter Josef Knipp lived here.

The village belonged to the community of Seelscheid until 1969.
