Melchiade Coletti
Melchiade Coletti (born October 25, 1922 in Rome ) is an Italian journalist and filmmaker.
Life
Coletti is a trained journalist who has been responsible for documentaries as production manager since 1953 and has made quite a few himself ( Montespertoli, una laurea , La storia dell'arma dei carabinieri or La festa del vino ). He was also active in feature films, as assistant director to Mario Bonnard , as a two-time screenwriter in the mid-1960s and as director of an adventure film , Sfida sul fondo , made in 1975 .
One of Colettis' stage names was Mel Collins .
