Melchiorre pink

Melchiorre Rosa (born April 23, 1884 in Sciacca ; † 1971 ) was an Italian composer.

Rosa studied at the Music Academy in Bologna and graduated with a diploma in piano and composition. From 1922 he was a professor at the academy himself. He wrote several orchestral works, pieces for the violin and sonatas.

A memorial commemorates him in his hometown.
