House Meliesallee 24

The house Meliesallee 24 in Dusseldorf-Benrath was built in 1925 according to the architect Kallenbach. In terms of style, the building is related to the Hannemann house , which is considered an “English country house with echoes of Palladianism” and a “typical example of the almost exclusively conservative modernism in country house construction of those years”. The house is also considered an example of a “dominant trend in those years”. Stylistically, the house is comparable to Theodor Merrill's houses in Cologne.
