House Hannemann
The listed Hannemann House is located at Lantzallee 18-20 in the Lohausen district of Düsseldorf .

It is a semi-detached house with a street front encompassing six axes. The facade closes with a strong eaves cornice. The ground floor windows are framed with ashlar, the windows on the upper floor are flanked by shutters. Above that there are round windows on the mezzanine floor . The listed villa was built in 1925 based on a design by Hanns Hübbers and is considered an “English country house with echoes of Palladianism” and a “typical example of the almost exclusively conservative modernism in country house construction of those years”. The house is also considered an example of a “dominant trend in those years”. In terms of style, the Hannemann house with the villas on Meliesallee in Düsseldorf-Benrath, such as B. the house Meliesallee 24 , house Meliesallee 17 and house Meliesallee 7 , or comparable with Theodor Merrill's houses in Cologne.
