Melodía Ruiz Gutiérrez (born October 12, 1990 in Dos Hermanas , Seville / Andalusia , Spain ), known as Melody , is a Spanish pop singer .

biography

Melodía Ruiz Gutiérrez became known at the age of ten for her album De pata negra , which was produced by Luis Cantero (el Fary). The single El baile del gorila in particular was a hit not only in Spain, but also in Latin America .

Other successful singles were Muévete (2002) and Dabadabadá (2003). Melody's sixth and so far last album Mucho camino por andar was released in 2014.

Her parents Ana Gutiérrez and Lorenzo Ruiz are also both active in the music industry. She also has a younger brother named Eleazar Ruiz Gutiérrez (Ele).
