Meltas

Meltas ( old Greek Μέλτας) was the son of Leokedes , king of Argos , in Greek mythology .

After the death of his father, he ascended the throne. The Argive people, who had severely restricted the king's power since the reign of Medon , finally deposed Meltas, thus ending the Argive royal rule.
