Memotech

Memotech was a British computer company based in Witney , Oxfordshire , England . The company first developed and sold memory expansions (“RAMpacks”) and other hardware expansions for the Sinclair ZX81 in the early 1980s .

After that, Memotech began developing its own home computers , which included the MTX500 , MTX512 and RS128 .

Neither model was particularly successful, so the company had to file for bankruptcy in 1985 .
