Mendoza , sometimes also called Mendoza Grande , is a town in Uruguay .

geography

Mendoza is located in the Florida Department in Sector 5 . The place is nestled between Cuchilla de Santa Lucía in the west and Cuchilla Mendoza in the east, in the southwestern part of the department a few kilometers from the southeastern border to the neighboring Canelones department, formed by the Río Santa Lucía . The closest settlement is Mendoza Chico to the north, 25 de Mayo to the northwest , Cardal to the west and Independencia to the southwest . Arroyo de Mendoza and its tributary Arroyo Pelado border the area surrounding the place to the east and west.
