Minuet in G major (Paderewski)

The Minuet in G major Op. 14.1 is a piano composition by Ignacy Jan Paderewski from 1887 and the opening piece of his six-part series Humoresques de concert op.14 . The John Philip Sousa Band published a transcription of the piece in Rochester (New York) in 1894 .

Recordings

In its original form as a piano piece, it received countless recordings from Paderewski himself to Sergej Rachmaninow , Józef Hofmann , Ignaz Friedman and Shura Cherkassky, right up to the pianists Roger Woodward , Stephen Hough and Adam Wodnicki, which are popular today .
