Merops (Argos)
Merops ( Greek Μέροψ ) was the son of Thestros , king of Argos in Greek mythology . He was the father of Aristodamidas , who ascended the throne after him. After Theophilus of Antioch , his brother Akoos was king of Argos and father of Aristodamidas.
