The 62.3 meter high Rostock exhibition tower is the landmark of the Rostocker Messe- und Stadthallengesellschaft mbH, built in 2003, and is located on the site of the HanseMesse Rostock . The tower designed by Gerkan, Marg and Partner in Berlin is one of the tallest tensegrity constructions and can sway by up to a meter in wind. The Rostock trade fair tower consists of six so-called "twist elements" that are 8.3 meters high.
