UAB Mestilla is one of the larger biodiesel production companies in Klaipėda , Lithuania . It is part of the Linas Agro Group . In 2011 the company achieved a turnover of 365.547 million litas . The company launched an investment project of almost 130 million litas in the Klaipėda Free Economic Zone . There was a plant of rapeseed methyl ester (biodiesel). This is one of the largest greenfield investments in Lithuania. Mestilla's annual production is over 100,000 tons of biodiesel. The Mestilla factory produces biodiesel in accordance with the European and Lithuanian quality standards (EN 14214). The biodiesel produced by "Mestilla" helps reduce annual carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) emissions by up to 300,000 tons.
