MetArt (formerly MET ART) is an English language website that has been offering erotic photos of women commercially since 1999 . The company is owned by Hydentra LP , based in Cyprus with offices in Santa Monica, California .
The "MET" in "MET ART" originally stands for "Most Erotic Teens" (mosteroticteens.com).
Reviews
MetArt was first rated by Rabbits Reviews in August 2005. Accordingly, MET ART offers "the largest [...] and most stylish collection of [...] nude art ".

Trademark lawsuit
In late 2005, the MetArt owner was faced with a trademark infringement charge . The plaintiff was the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company (MetLife) of New York, and the complaint was brought before the WIPO in Geneva. Objections were the excessive similarity with the own brand names as well as the threat to the reputation through the "sexual" content on the MET-ART pages. In 2006, the WIPO dismissed the lawsuit.
Prices
In 2011 MetArt won the XBIZ Award in the “Solo Girl Site of the Year” category and in 2015 in the “Adult Site of the Year - Photography” category. In 2013 the site was nominated for the AVN Award in the categories “Best Membership Site” and “Best Photography Website”.
