Meteor Records
The Meteor Records were an American record label . Meteor mainly released rockabilly and blues tracks.

It was founded in 1952 by the Bihari brothers in Memphis , Tennessee , who also owned Modern Records in Los Angeles . The first single to appear on the label was I Believe / I Held My Baby Last Night by blues musician Elmore James . Over the next few years, the label continued to release records by rockabilly and blues musicians, but largely with little success. The last single was released in 1957, a short time later the Meteor Records were closed in favor of Modern Records by the Bihari brothers.
