Metin Çekiçler (born January 3, 1961 in Istanbul ) is a former Turkish football player .
Metin Çekiçler played in the youth team of Galatasaray Istanbul until 1979 . In the summer of 1979 he was appointed to the first team and played six league games. In the following season there were again six league games, also he was loaned to Mersin İdman Yurdu in the second half of the 1980/81 season. Metin Çekiçler ended his career after the 1984/85 season with Kahramanmaraşspor .
